“ We have been coming here for 5 years. We bring family when they are visiting. We probably come here once a month. The food has always been great and the service speedy. The only time there has been a delay is with 6 in our party. Totally expected to get everything out to the table timed and hot. “ We'd been seeing these 99 Restaurants on our trip through the northeast and decided that this was where we wanted to feast as our last hoorah traveling through Vermont. Established as the "sit-down", casual dining experience, we'd figured we had better try it before we left. The building was quite modern on the outside. The parking situation was a bit unique, but nothing far from a Chili's or similar place. An oversight on my part was that online they mentioned about "family packs", where one could buy three of their burgers and and order of chicken fingers in a bundle, but this is only for pickup (or I presume delivery with stuff like DoorDash). We decided against the appetizers mainly because the prices were a little higher than we were accustomed to. We went right into the main courses. While I'll say the burgers were quite fine — KidMDK gave it a 7, DCFuse a 7, I gave it about a 7.5 mostly because of uniqueness — they were slightly warm and not as good as we thought they could have been. Not horrible by any means, just okay. We had the Vermont Cheddar with the cheddar and bacon, sans fried onions. My daughters had lobster rolls, each of the kinds they had on the menu. They claimed they were good, but not absolutely raving about them. The fun part was the friendly staff and the popcorn they serve while you wait, another reason we skipped the appetizer. The whole experience was good (standard) and we look forward to visiting again sometime when we're out that way. You should at least try it, too! ”

“ 9,UPDATED 4/20/25. Here on Easter Sunday as we were in the area. Still give 5 stars. Just want to note.... be sure to look closely at the hand held check out before you sign your name! There are 3 options for tipping. Our waitress chose the highest tip option for us! Luckily, I noticed it, as she hovered over me, but I changed it to 20%, instead of 24%! I don't think waitresses and waiters should be able to choose their own tip %! 99 is our go-to when we're in the Brattleboro area. it's not fancy, but it's clean, has very good service and the food never disappoints. ”

“ I’ve been going to this 99 since they opened way back whenever that was. They easily have the best boneless buffalo wings I’ve ever had. The blue cheese dressing is so chunky and creamy and the buffalo sauce has that perfect tangy buffalo flavour. It’s amazing how you can order them delivery and they’re still hot and crispy when they get here. My other favourites are the baked haddock, fried shrimp, and all star burger. The chopped sirloin which is a once a week special now is also a classic that I often find myself craving. If you dine in, they have good cold beer and nice mixed drinks with popcorn on the table to enjoy. The atmosphere is nice and service is always on point. ”

“ We packed up our family for Christmas vacation and ventured out hitting 14 states in 5 days unplanned. We stopped in Brattleboro,VT and decided to stay the night (found a nice Holiday Inn). We found this restaurant on maps and gave it a try and so glad we did! We had an amazing waitress, Alexandra who made it that much better, thanks for giving us a Vermont welcome with great hospitality! She was buzzing around doing the same for other food goers! Don’t leave here without trying the balsamic chicken, we upgraded the sides to broccoli casserole and bacon mac & cheese and would do again! Make sure to save some room for the apple pie, it’s a must! I wish I took pictures but we were too busy enjoying the delicious food. Make sure if you try this dish add your picture! We are a family of 6 (extra cousin tagged along this trip so make it 7), great prices, we checked the bill twice and couldn’t believe how wonderful our bill looked! Last minute decision turned out to be a Vermont winter treat! ”
